History
Berean Crusaders Pathfinder Club is the first Pathfinder Club started in South Atlantic Conference. In 1960, Alyce Foletti decided to start our Pathfinder club, because she wanted the young people of Berean to explore the outdoors, enjoy nature and participate in activities that will help them to have a closer relationship with God and enhance their mental and physical development. For sixteen years (1960 – 1976) she served tirelessly as the first and longest serving director, and set a standard to be followed by her successors. Under her leadership, Berean Crusaders Pathfinder Club was grown to become a leader, a pace-setter and a club of strength and courage. She was a “Standard to Behold”.
For the past fifty years, our club has touched the lives of many here in the United States and other countries. We remain a club of passion, a club of vision, a club of creativity and open to new ideas and changes. We have provided training and assisted in the development of other clubs. We have participated in many camporees (locally and internationally) and Pathfinder competitions such as drilling and marching, drum corps, Pathfinder fairs and Pathfinder Olympics.
Below are the list of our directors who have served this club passionately, and have contributed to our history, our strength, our growth and and our pride:
